Yeibon Chang is classically trained violinist, who graduated from the University of North Texas with a BM in Performance under Igor Borodin and Julia Bushkova. She started her music training with piano and violin at the age of seven in South Korea. She continued her training with solo performances and chamber music studies as an active member of both the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra under Richard Giangiulio and the New Conservatory of Dallas under Arkady Fomin. Upon her graduation, she served in professional local orchestras around the DFW area, started her music studio in Frisco, and worked in a paraprofessional team at Frisco ISD. She had a role on equipping the next generation in classical music and cross over genres. Now, she is here at the Covenant School, as the Orchestra Director, and she is grateful to build the program and excited to meet all of the new students. Besides performing and teaching, she serves the church as a Lead pastor’s wife at Frisco One Way Church, and she is the proud mom of twin boys. In her spare time, she enjoys the visual arts, going to museums, and interior design. |
