We've missed you and are thinking about YOU today! Please know how important you are to your grandchildren and the whole Covenant community.

While this academic year has been different from years in the past, we are grateful for what we have been able to do safely through the pandemic. We have included some photos of what's been happening on campus at Covenant this Spring!

Library Book Donations

Thank you for considering a gift to the Covenant Library in honor of your grandchild! If you would like to donate one or more books for $20 per book, please click the link to donate online. Covenant Librarian Meredith Covington will select an age-appropriate book for your grandchild and create a bookplate to commemorate this special gift to the school.

Grandparents Day

Grammar Traditions

Our grammar school students were so grateful to be able to participate in
Living History Days and Spring Fling!

Logic School Update

The Logic School celebrated placing 3rd place in state with their drama production Treasure Island. The sixth through eighth-graders were grateful for a chance to continue beloved traditions like historical figure day and Shakespeare Festival including The Tempest.

Rhetoric School Update

A lot has been happening in the Rhetoric School this Spring - Senior Art Show, select choir students performed with the All Region and All State Honor Choirs, both soccer teams won the 2021 TAPPS DIII state championships - just to name a few!

Building Update

The reality of the new space where classical learning will take place next year is coming to life before our very eyes. All floor slabs have been poured, and the 3rd-floor structural framing is underway giving the building its final shape. Construction on the inside has also begun and is moving along as quickly as possible. Thank you for your prayers for the construction team and building process. Dear Covenant Grandparents and Grandfriends,

We miss you and are thinking about YOU today! The global pandemic may have altered our plans for Grandparent's Day, the Spring play, and sporting events, but we know with certainty how important you are to your grandchildren and the whole Covenant community. Enjoy this brief update on distance learning and the Covenant community. We've included:

A few songs that the students were preparing before remote learning began, including the 5th grade's Lewis and Clark performance.
A highlight of how we are honoring our seniors, the Class of 2020, with a special surprise delivery by their teachers
An opportunity to honor your grandchild by purchasing a book for the Grammar and Logic Library

Please know that we are lifting you all up in prayer today. As you think about Covenant, please pray for health for our teachers, wisdom for school administration and board of trustee members, and for our whole community to truly be transformed by the power and presence of our Lord Jesus Christ during this global pandemic. May we cling to Him and trust Him all the more!

Distance Learning

Classical Learning... on the go! It has been amazing to see how quickly Covenant mobilized to adapt to the measures put in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19. All the students are now learning the same rich material from the comfort of their own homes for the remainder of the 2019-20 academic year. The faculty and staff have been incredible, especially in their flexibility and tenacity during this tough time. The students and parents have been amazing, too!

Senior Surprise!

To honor the senior class of 2020, several members of the Rhetoric School drove around and put yard signs at the student's homes to honor them. It was a great way to connect and see each other... from a distance. The senior class has been so understanding during this time of uncertainty setting a stellar example for the rest of the school.
