"Art is an expression, a record of what is seen or felt.  Its highest reason for being is to reflect some part of the majesty and glory of God's creation and redemptive story.  I paint because I love beauty and love to create.  I enjoy the pleasure and dialogue it brings to others.  I create art from what I see and what I think is beautiful, true, or significant."
